The blending of Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon has been very popular worldwide for all the right reasons. Merlot compliments the chalky, structural tannins of Cabernet Sauvignon by providing fleshy plum flavoured fruit sweetness to the palate.

Our growers in Mount Barker, Manjimup and Margaret River, all premium cool climate viticultural regions of SouthWestern Australia, supplied the Cabernet and Merlot for this wine.

Winemakers� Comments
This wine displays a rich, dark colour with aromas of mulberries, raspberry and hints of bayleaf and antique furniture. The taste is soft and rich with a fine tannin coating.
