Located in the northern part of Margaret River, where ocean breezes create a unique climate, Amberley produces wines with elegant flavours, structure and balance.
Brilliant and bright, the wine is pale straw in colour with green tinges. Fresh aromas of passionfruit and lemon & lime zest are complemented by hints of jasmine flowers and nettles. A mouth-filling wine with a generous and textured palate, flavours of lemon zest and hints of citrus blossom. An ideal combination of freshness and fruit sweetness balanced by crisp, citrus acidity.
Enjoy with baked barramundi and a medley of steamed vegetables.
Premium parcels of Sauvignon Blanc were selected from our vineyards in Margaret River and machine harvested in the cool of night to maximise fruit freshness. Gentle handling in the winery ensured the bright, vibrant fruit flavours were retained. The juice was racked and fermented at cool temperatures of between 13-16 degrees celcius in stainless steel tanks. Following the completion of fermentation, the wine was matured on lees for approximately 2 months enabling the development of additional texture and complexity. The wine was then fined, stabilised and bottled in August.
