GRANT BURGE 5TH GEN CAB MERLOT
This wine is a celebration of Grant Burge as a 5th generation Barossa vigneron. The 2011 vintage was ideal in the Barossa Valley as an even ripening period allowed the fruit to develop distinct varietal characters and concentration of flavour while maintaining a refi ned structure. This rich 2010 Cabernet Merlot has concentrated redcurrant and dark plum flavours, supported by fi ne tannins and spicy oak. The refi ned structure of this wine makes it a great match with a wide range of dishes including barbequed meats and hearty tomato dishes.
